Canon Lenses vs Sigma Lenses? - sigma lenses for canon
T1i I have a Canon and I'm looking for a new goal for himself, 18-55mm which I have. I know that has the best lenses Canon (Image Stabilizer), and I see that some goals Sigma OS (Optical Stabilizer). Are there any goals of equal quality? Is the Sigma OS compared with Canon IS? There is also a place to get a good piece about the objectives for digital SLR cameras? I have my camera at Best Buy, but my $ 600 + for a new target for them. Is there a place that sells discounted refurbished lenses or glasses?

The short answer is no. Sigma and Canon are not the same in the construction or quality. Personally, I prefer to buy a used or refurbished Canon lens to go too far off the mark. However, not everyone will make that call.

Compare Canon L-series for Sigma, and won the series L. Compare the regular canon, with a Sigma, and usually a tie. Some of Sigma's are better, some of Canon. Search for "Canon Sigma comparison" or "objective examination Canon" - you'll find that most of the rankings Canon lenses much smaller than the Sigma to receive him. I have two guns and three Class L Sigma. The Sigma 8mm fisheye is fantastic. It really depends if they disbanded, zoom, etc.
If you have an L-series can afford it, can not be beaten Go for it - too. Otherwise, look at the comments.
I do not think Sigma lenses, the quality of Canon lenses fit, although some are very good. It depends on the individual goal. Be sure to read reviews of lenses that you are interested in and see sample photos with this goal.

Canon offers a better quality and better image quality, but if you can not afford the Sigma or Tamron lenses are good alternative choice.
