If you enjoy skiing or snowboarding ... go for it. I know when I'm down I want to do 2 things with my friends.
I would say, skiing, as long as you do not know you well .... gf a little alcohol in the bottom line is not bad either.
Certainly, a couple of brandy or whiskey, which means - and it will be better tomorrow.
It has to work through their grief - and a few drinks do not help people who do --
Unfortunately, alcohol is the only answer.
Take it and deals with friends doing something you enjoy, it's a good idea. It lets you know that there is joy in many things, not just one person.
